Craft Cafe concept
Craft Cafe started in New York as a means to bring together creativity and socialising into one space. A way to meet like-minded people and try out new crafts. It has had some success in Bristol and in late 2024 we introduced it to Gallery 45 in Felton, Northumberland.

Our Craft Cafe works as an evening event; you book onto two separate crafts, and these are an hour long each in duration. There is a 30-minute break in between to have a drink, socialise and have a look around. Tables are set out in the different studios and in the large gallery room.

At Gallery 45 in Felton, we have seven resident artists, and we also have some fabulous guest artists. We have a maximum of ten artists on the evening, and each artist organises their table for a group of four people to try their craft. You will be guided through the hour by your artist.
